Ellen Harrison, daughter of Richard Harrison & Margaret Picke, was blessed 8 25 Mar 1630 in West Kirby, Cheshire, England. She married 9 John Thompson Sr. 1625-1674 on 25 Feb 1651 in New Haven, New Haven, Connecticut. She was probably a sister of the Thomas Harrison who married the widow of Farmer John Thompson of East Haven (memorial #64404454). She died 8 Apr 1690, & in her will of Oct 1689 she mentions her daughters Mary, Hannah, & Elizabeth, her sons-in-law Abraham & Benjamin Bradlye, & her grandchild Sarah, daughter of her daughter Elizabeth.

Notes
NEHGR identifies her as "probably sister of Thomas who married the widow of John Thompson of East Haven." Corbin calls her probably daughter of Richard, and gives the date of her married to John Thompson. In "Families of Ancient New Haven," Jacobus gives her death date and the date of her marriage to John Thompson, and calls her probably the daughter of Richard Harrison, placing her in order as the second child.
On 6 October 1682, "sister Ellen Thompson" was mentioned in the will of William Thompson Sr. of New Haven.
In her will dated October 1689 she mentions daughters Mary, Hannah and Elizabeth, sons-in-law Abraham and Benjamin Bradlye, grandchild Sarah, daughter of her daughter Elizabeth. (NH Probate Rec 2:41).
