About Ellsworth M. Weidman
Ellsworth M Weidman, 87, of Lititz, died Saturday at Fairview Nursing Home in York after and illness of seven weeks. He was the husband of Mary Kochel, East Earl, who survives him. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Emma Enck, who died in 1969, and his second wife, Carrie Bucher, who died in 1975. Born in Mountville, he was a son of the later Milton and Susan Miley Weidman. A member of Blue Ball Church of the Brethren, he was a retired employee of Woodstream Corp. He had also worked as a tenant farmer. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Ivan E. Brumbach, Jonestown, and Leroy E. Weidman, Leola, and two daughters, Ella Mae, wife of William Spangler, Etters, and Lorraine Ginder, Lititz. Also surviving are nine step children, 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. One brother, Wilbur M., Manheim, also survives, along with seven sisters: Maybelle M. Palm, Lititz; Bertha Hirneisen, Stevens; Roma M. Frable, Ephrata; Mary E Gibble, Lititz; Ethel M. Bear, Lititz; Clara M. Chernich, Brickerville, and Bernice M. Ricci, Pottstown.
