Elmer Post of Kingfisher died Tuesday, April 11, 2000. He was born August 10, 1917, near Cashion, Oklahoma, to Ben and Anna Marie (Gleichman) Post. He was 82 years old.
Elmer was baptized into the Christian faith here at Emmanuel on September 2, 1917. He was confirmed on May 28, 1933, also here at Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
He is survived by one sister, Katherine Standridge of Kingfisher; three step-nieces and their families; and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother-in-law, Cleve Standridge.
