About Elmer A. Snow

The President of the United States of America, in the name of Congress, takes pleasure in presenting the Medal of Honor to Trumpeter Elmer A. Snow, United States Army, for bravery in action on 17 June 1876, while serving with Company M, 3d U.S. Cavalry, in action at Rosebud River, Montana. Trumpeter Snow was wounded in both arms.
