SOURCE CITATION- DEATH: (Taken from letter dated 29 Jan 2000 to Arnold Offerdahl from Jan Kristiansen, genealogist at the State Archives in Oslo) I have checked the death records on Else Larsdatter: Ullensaker church register no. 14b, p. 395 b: Date: 06 January, buried 17 January, 1836 Name: Else Larsdatter Kopperud, retired farmer's wife, provided for by his successor, 86 years. (Jan Kristiansen's note: the successor was probably Lars) (Jan Kristiansen's note: the ages as shown on the death records are probably wrong. This can be explained by the fact that they were not born in Ullensaker parish, thus the rector couldn't easily check their baptism records, and instea d he probably wrote down an age on them based on how old he thought they were. As you can see, the birth years as determined by the death records (1762 and 1851) do not correspond at all with the birth years we can deduce from the 1801 Census (bo th born ca. 1766/67).
