AGED RESIDENT OF PITMAN SUCCUMBS
Emanuel Hepler, 88, Pitman, died late last week in his home from complications, with which he was afflicted over a period of many months.
Hepler was born in Northumberland County, January 1, 1855. His family located at Pitman when he was in early youth, and he resided there to the time of his death. The deceased was widely known farmer until he retired about eight years ago. He was a member of the Church of God, Pitman, where he served for many years as an officer.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Frank Malick, Pitman, and Mrs. Charles Maul, Mount Carmel; a son, Charles Hepler, Reinerton, and a sister, Miss Priscilla Hepler, Pitman.
