The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 29, 2018 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Chapin Chapel.
Mrs. Ballentine was born April 15, 1939 in Columbia, SC, and passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Howard J. and Moxley H. Cothran.
Mrs. Ballentine was a graduate of Columbia High School and attended the University of South Carolina. She retired from the Lutheran Theological Seminary.
