SMITH, EMILY FOSTER died 4 Apr 1980 Emily Foster Smith, 92, of Litton Road, Oneida, passed away Friday evening, April 4, at the Scott County Nursing Home. She was the daughter of the late Isaac Foster and the late Rilda Foster, and was also preceded in death by her husband, John M. Smith. She was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church. She is survived by three daughters: Velma Morrow of Route 2, Oneida, Nixola Storey of Somerset, Ky., and Mattilee Range of Litton Road, Oneida; five sons: Eldridge Smith of Lewallen Drive, Oneida, Orilee Smith of Cincinnati, O., John O. Smith of Gainesville, Ga., A. I. (Smitty) Smith of Alpharetta, Ga., and Charles E. Smith of Cincinnati, O.; one sister, Addie West of Route 3, Oneida; 30 grandchildren; 68 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, April 7, Bethlehem Baptist Church, with Rev. Roy Blevins officiating. Burial followed in the Litton Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers were: Leonard Morrow, Douglas Morrow, Kenny Morrow, Ray Smith, Windell Morrow, Jerry Morrow, Donnie Morrow, and Junior Morrow. Active pallbearers were: Fred Range, Billy Smith, Phillip Smith, Eddie Smith, Ronald Storey, James Morrow, and David Smith. West-Murley Funeral Home of Oneida in charge of arrangements.
