Emma Braddy

MOUNT VERNON — Emma Braddy, 80, of Route 1 died Monday in a local hospital.

Services will be held at 3 p.m. today in Sammons Funeral Home. Burial will be in Adams Cemetery. The Revs. Jack Fernandez and Manning Temples will officiate.

A native of Montgomery County, Mrs. Braddy was the daughter of the late Charlie R. Palmer and Maggie Garner Palmer and was the widow of Cecil B. Braddy. She was a member of Mount Vernon Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Kelly Braddy and Pete Braddy, both of Mount Vernon; two sisters, Lucile Braddy and Thelma Edgley, both of Mount Vernon; a brother, Charles Palmer of Mount Vernon; and five grandchildren.
