Death: Sep. 16, 2001 Basalt Bingham County Idaho, USA SHELLEY - Emma Elizabeth Hasler Berg, 91, of Basalt, Idaho, died Sept. 16, 2001. She was born Oct. 15, 1909, in Midway, Utah, to Frederick Hasler and Emma Baumgartner Hasler.
Her early years were spent in Midway, Utah, where she attended schools. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was a devoted worker as she served in many church organizations.
As an adult, she worked in Salt Lake City for Granite Furniture until she married Charles McKay Berg on Aug. 12, 1960, in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. After their marriage, she moved to Basalt and again served in many positions in her ward.
In her later years, she spent many enjoyable hours making quilts for Deseret Industries.
Survivors include a sister, Lucille Margaret Watkins; and a brother, John Henry Hasler. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles McKay Berg, one brother and four sisters.
