About Emma Ottilie Agnes Fehling

Am 15. Mai 1917 starb Plancks Tochter Grete (* 1889), nur wenige Tage nach der Geburt ihres ersten Kindes, im Wochenbett an einer Lungenembolie. Ihre Zwillingsschwester Emma kümmerte sich um die Tochter.[45]

Im Januar 1919 heiratete Emma Planck Gretes Witwer, den Heidelberger Professor Ferdinand Fehling. Am 21. November 1919 starb auch sie bei der Geburt des ersten Kindes, wiederum überlebte die Tochter
