WEDDING AT IZELI

+

On Tuesday, 22nd inst., the wedding of Mr, A. Goldschmidt and Miss E. Pautz, eldest daughter of Mr. A. Pautz, was celebrated. The officiating minister was the Rev. H. Anders.

On the day previous to this two of the bridesmaids — Miss L. Pautz and Miss Schaefer, tastefully decorated the Church with palm-leaves and different greenery for the occasion. The bride who was beautifully attired in cream cashmere with tulle veil and wreath of orange blossoms, was accompanied by three bridesmaids: Miss L. Pautz, Miss A. Pautz, and Miss Schaefer, the former two pleasingly dressed in cream cashmere, and the latter in cream silk. Two little girls — acting as flower girls — looked most charming, whilst throwing "happiness” before their feet. After the ceremony the marriage register was duly signed in the vestry; and amidst showers of rice the newly wedded pair returned home. Afterwards a number of guests found their way to the hospitable residence of Mr. A. Pautz, where the toasts usual on such an occasion were duly honoured. In the afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Goldschmidt left for Natal via East London, where they will spend the honeymoon.

The afternoon soon was passed away by playing interesting games. The wedding presents were numerous and well selected. A large circle of friends wish the happy couple happiness and long life.
