MRS. EMANUEL HEPLER DIES AT PITMAN HOME
Beloved Resident of Rural Section Succumbs to Complication Following Lingering Illness - Funeral on Saturday
Pitman residents mourn the loss of one of that rural community's best known and most respected women, Mrs. Emma Hepler, beloved wife of Emanuel Hepler, who succumbed Tuesday to a complication of diseases following an illness of several weeks.
Mrs. Hepler, who was 76 years of age, had been a resident of Pitman practically all her life, was actively identified with the affairs of the church and the community, known to every resident and enjoyed the highest respect of all. She was a woman of most kindly disposition and during her period of illness received the solicitous care of devoted members of the family and friends.
Surviving are the aged husband, two daughters, Mrs. Charles Maul, of Mount Carmel and Mrs. Louise Malick, of Pitman and one son, Charles, of Pitman. George Hepler, of this city, is a nephew of the departed and mourned matron.
The funeral will be held from the late home on Saturday morning at 10 o'clock, with burial to be made in the Pitman cemetery.
