Mrs. Emma Larson
Mrs. Emma G. Larson, 78, 1328 East State Street, died at St. Anthony hospital last night following a brief illness.
Born in Westergotland, Sweden, April 19, 1861, Mrs. Larson came to the United States at the age of six with her parents, who settled at Pecatonica. She was married Sept. 27, 1884, to Robert Larson, who survives. She had been a member of First Lutheran Church here for 60 years.
Besides her husband she leaves two sons, Irving and Herbert, both of Rockford; a brother, August J. Holmberg, Chicago, and a sister, Mrs. Louise Nordin, Omaha, Neb.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Wilbur Christenson Funeral home 925 3rd Avenue. The Rev. Albert Loreen, pastor of First Lutheran church, will officiate, and burial will be in Scandinavian Cemetery.
