About Emma Lee
Mrs. Emma Kinghorn Lee, 81, a long-time Idaho resident and retired barber, died Sunday at a Rigby rest home, where she had been for about a year. She was born Nov. 6, 1885 at Lewisville, Idaho, daughter of Alexander and Jane Campbell Kinghorn. She married Thomas Bowen Lee, February 5, 1913, in the Salt Lake City, Utah, LDS Temple, and they had one son, Thomas Harold Lee, born in 1914. She had been active in LDS work, a choir member, served in the Primary Presidency in Mesa, Arizona; served as president of the YWMIA in the Rigby First Ward, and as secretary in the Genealogical Society in the Rigby First Ward now the Rigby Fifth Ward. Her husband died in San Diego, California, May 12, 1918, while serving in the Army in World War I. Survivors include one son Thomas Harold Lee, and two grandchildren, Sherrie and Christina of Rigby; one sister, Mrs. Agnes Kinghorn Morris of Glendale, California. Seven brothers and four sisters preceded her in death.
