About Emma E Peachey
- Emma E. Wengerd, 92, of 89 Wengerd Lane, Belleville, died at 1 a.m. Monday, March 13, 2000, at her residence. Born Aug. 20, 1907, in Belleville, she was a daughter of the late Moses A. and Rebecca B. (Renno) Peachey. Her husband, Solomon D. Wengerd, preceded her in death. Surviving are: children, Alvin Wengerd, Mifflintown, Lydia Wengerd, Nancy Zook, Samuel Wengerd and Steven Wengerd, all of Belleville, Mary Lapp and Malinda Peachey, both of McAlisterville, David Wengerd, Bloomsburg, and Annie Unruh, Idaho; 63 grandchildren, 83 great-grandchildren and 22 step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Rebecca Peachey, in 1992. She was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish. Services will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the Samuel Wengerd residence, 117 Wengerd Lane, Belleville, with Bishop Louie Peachey officiating. Interment will be in Whitehall Amish Cemetery, Belleville. Friends may call this afternoon and evening at the deceased's residence.
