Mrs. Emoline Tyler aged 85 years, died ast the home of her son. C.N. Tyler, 7 Stephensonstreet, Cortland NY, Monday Feb 27, after a lingering illness. Mrs Tyler was the dasughter of Garry and Betsy Terrell. Whe was one of 13 children and was born May 25, 1842 on the homestead just west of Cortland. One sister, Mrs Anna Stone of binghamton, nd 2 brothers, Lewis Terrell of Binghamton and Manley Terrell of Homer, survive her. She was an earnest christian and very active in all good work for the betterment of mankind, until she was obliged to rest from her labors because of ill health. she was confined to her home for many long weary months. Her beautiful patient life through all her suffering radiated a profound influence for good to all who knew her. Mrs Tyler is survived by her aged husband, George H. Tyler, and five sons C.N.Tyler of Cortland, Rev. Louis Tyler of Middletown, Willis J. and Walter H. of Groton and Adelbert of Wilkes Barre. The funeral services were held at the home of her son and were private. Burial was made in the emetery at Homer
