About Ephraim Fisk, Jr.

Joseph and Ephraim Jr. were twins. Ephraim Jr. was a co-founder of Geneva during "Bleeding Kansas," which can reasonably be considered the real beginning of the Civil War.

Ephraim Sr. was exactly 1 year old when his father, Ebenezer Fisk Jr., marched from Tewksbury to answer the Lexington Alarm and take part in ambushing the British troops at Merriam's Corner in Concord as they retreated from the North Bridge. Ebenezer later fought in the Battle of Bennington in Col. Nichols' regiment of Gen. Stark's brigade. (Neither Molly Stark nor Elizabeth Fisk slept a widow that night!)
