About Erma Miller

Salt Lake Tribune, The (UT) - June 9, 2005, Deceased Name: Erma Burnett Miller 1906 ~ 2005: Our loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great- grandmother, Erma Burnett Miller, returned home to her Father in Heaven on June 7, 2005 at the age of 98. She is now reunited with her husband Arnold Franklin Miller and her daughter Shirley who preceded her in death. Erma was born September 1, 1906 in Clinton, Utah, to John Thomas Burnett and Lucy Hurst. She resided in Syracuse, Utah, Pocatello, Idaho, American Fork, Utah and recently Jericho Springs, Missouri. She was married to Arnold Franklin Miller on Dec 1, 1925 and later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. She was employed at the Hill Air Force Base Arsenal as an ordinance worker until she received a medical disability retirement.

She is survived by her children: Audrey (Clay) Claybrook, Jericho Springs, Missouri; Neil (Bev) Miller, Reno, Nevada; Carma Wilson, Kissimmee, Florida; Steven (Linda) Miller, Payson, Utah and John (Pam) Miller, American Fork, Utah. She has 29 grandchildren, 104 great-grandchildren and 30 great-great-grandchildren. Erma has been an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints all her life and served in many capacities in the Relief Society, Cub Scouts and as a Blazer leader in the Primary. She has been a very active member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She always saw only the good in people and loved her children and grandchildren very much.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 11, 2005 at the American Fork 30th Ward Chapel located at 270 North 900 East in American Fork, Utah. There will be a viewing from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Anderson & Sons Mortuary at 49 E. 100 N. in American Fork and at 9:45 a.m. prior to the services.
