Erma Eilene Rohr / Cressman

ROHR-CRESSMAN, Erma Ilene - Peacefully, at Fairview Mennonite Home, with family at her side, on Tuesday, October 13, 2009, at age 96. Erma was a 62-year member of Stirling Avenue Mennonite Church. Loving mother of Heather Barnett (Jim), Marlene Tattle (Peter). Sadly missed by grandchildren, Kyle Tattle (Jill), Stephanie DiLorenzo (Mas), Shannon Barnett, Brett Barnett, and greatgrandchildren, Abigail, Sydney, Kelsey, Daniel and Kaya. Erma is survived by two sisters-in-law, Reta Schmitt and Eunice Burkhardt. Predeceased by her first husband, Myrrel Cressman; second husband, Milton Rohr; sisters, Idella Shantz and Edna Brewer; and brother, Newton Schmitt. Erma is the last surviving member of the George and Ida (nee Hallman) Schmitt family. Erma's family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, October 20, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467. The funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at Stirling Avenue Mennonite Church, 57 Stirling Avenue North, Kitchener, followed by a reception. Pastor Marilyn Rudy-Froese officiating. Interment Breslau Mennonite Cemetery.
