Mr. Ormsbee was born on December 21, 1929 in Convis Township to Francis and Maudie (Price) Ormsbee. He graduated form Bellevue High School in 1948. On November 10, 1961, he married Alice Winchell, and she preceded him in death on October 5, 2016.
Mr. Ormsbee was a carpenter for 45 years for the BC Shoeman Company in Battle Creek. He retired in 2000. Mr. Ormsbee was a life member of the Lathers Local 1028. He enjoyed being in the outdoors and loved fishing, hunting, gardening, and bird watching. He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his 5 children, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and 2 sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, a grandson Timothy Carpenter and four siblings.
