Ervin C Wells

Ervin C. Wells Battle Creek Ervin C. Wells, 85, of Battle Creek passed away Saturday September 4, 2010 at Heartland Health Care Center. He was born on July 15, 1925 in Battle Creek to Don A. and Esta L. (Shutt) Wells. Ervin married Norma J. Miller on August 22, 1947 in Battle Creek. He was employed by Oliver Corporation from 1944 until 1964 and Kellogg Community College from 1966 until he retired in 1987. Ervin is survived by his wife, Norma, and a sister Martha Culver, of Battle Creek, and his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Robert, and a sister, Flora Smith. Ervin was a member of Custer Chapel and Christian Motorcycle Association. Ervin enjoyed bowling and golfing. Family will receive friends from 6pm to 8pm Tuesday September 7, 2010 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held 11a.m. Wednesday September 8, 2010 at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. James Carey of Custer Chapel officiating. Memorial contributions may be given to charity of one's choice.
