About Eryka Josephine Theresa Grabanski
Eryka Josephine Theresa Kulas was born July 30, 1915 on the farm in Pulaski twp, Walsh cty ND 5.5 miles east of Warsaw, ND. She was baptized Eryka Josephine Kulas and chose Theresa as her confirmation name. She grew upon the farm, went to Pulaski dist. 43 and St. Anthony's Convent in Warsaw, ND. She married Ernest Grabanski while he was home on Military leave and after he got out of the army they settled in Grafton, ND where he worked as a cook for a local cafe and Eryka worked as a beautician. They had two children while in Grafton: Eileen 1943 and Susan @ 1945/6. They later moved to Fargo, ND and than to Minneapolis, MN where Ernie worked as a chef at restaurants, and Eryka became a housewife. In her Senior years, Eryka suffered dementia, having a hard time remembering anyone before she died Aug 2, 2002 and is buried in the Minneapolis, Mn. area with her husband.
