Estel was born in Pineville, Ky on 7-26-1915, son to Tom and Lizzie Browning. He married Lorene Eads in January 1938. He worked and lived near several coal mining communities until age 37 and decided to move his wife, five sons and one daughter to New Castle, Indiana to make a better living where he worked for Chrylser Motor Co for a few months. They then lived in Cicero, Indiana for many years and he did contruction work until his death of a massive heart attack on 6-23-1965. He enjoyed fishing, squirrel and rabbit hunting and working with his hands repairing cars, doing handywork around the house, and watching his children play sports. He was very proud of his children's accomplishments. |
