Born and lived in Tel Aviv, Israel (1952-2001). At the age of 2, contracted polio; her legs and left hand were paralized, and she had little control of her right hand. After a series of unsuccessful operations in NYC hospitals (1959-1962), she was confined to a wheel chair for the rest of her life.
Inspite of her disabilty, Etti never gave up. She studied in a regular highschool and was very popular with her fellow students. She studied Sociology (BA) and Law (LLB), and became a lawyer. She joined the DA office of the Central District, in Tel Aviv, and served as a prosecutor and later as Senior Vice DA till her untimely Death at the age of 49.
Etti lived with her parents in Tel Aviv, first at 36 Montefiori Str. (ages 0-5) and then in 32 Sokolov Str. (ages 5-49); her father Yerachmiel died in 1997.
