Reading Times-December 28, 1912- EXPIRES IN HER 91ST YEAR-Mrs. Esther Dick, Who Resided in Same House 30 Years, Passes Away
Mrs. Esther Dick, widow of the late Nicholas Dick, died of the infirmities of age, at her residence, 140 South Ninth street, Friday, at 3.30 p.m., in the 91st year of her age. She was the daughter of Abraham and Esther (nee Levan) De Turck, and was born in Oley Township, Aug. 13, 1822, but has resided at her late residence for 30 years. She was the last of her family. Mrs. Dick was ailing five years but was bedfast only four weeks. She is survived by the following children: Marcus D., of Seyferts; Mrs. Susan Wentzel, of Birdsboro; Eli D. and Lizzie, of this city.

Mrs. Esther Dick, widow of Nicholas Dick, died at her residence, 140 South Ninth street, Friday evening, of a complication of diseases, aged 91 years. The following children survive: Marcus Dick, Seyfert Station; Mrs. Susan Wentzel, of Birdsboro, and Miss Lizzie Dick, of this city.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral without further notice from her late residence, 140 South 9th street, on Thursday, Jan. 2 at 10.30 a.m. Services at the house. Interment in Schwarzwald cemetery. Kindly omit flowers.
Reading Eagle, Saturday, January 4, 1913-Mrs. Esther Dick
The funeral of Mrs. Esther Dick, aged 90 years, 4 months and 14 days, was held from her residence, 140 South Ninth street and was largely attended. Revs. Dr. J. F. Moyer and H. H. Ranck officiated. Friends were present from Philadelphia, Birdsboro, Boyertown, Oley and Fleetwood. A quartet from the First Reformed Church choir rendered hymns at the house and grave. The remains were attired in a black silk dress and rested in a solid cedar, copper lined, cloth covered casket, with round corners and oxidized extension bar handles, with place containing name and age. The bearers were S. H. Christian, Oliver Wentzel, Daniel Miller, F. J. Ulle, William C. K. Fisher and Samuel Egelhoff. Interment was made in Schwarzwald cemetery. Funeral Director F. F. Seidel had charge.
