Esther Rosella Jirik

Esther R. Jirik, age 78, of Lonsdale, passed away Sunday, Jan. 11, 2009.

Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Lonsdale, with visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the White Funeral Home, Hwy. 19, Lonsdale. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Lonsdale.

Esther Zweber was born on Sept. 2, 1930, in New Market, Minn., to John and Frances (Sauser) Zweber. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank R. Jirik.

She is survived by children Walter Jirik of St. Paul, Jean Jirak of Mankato, Madonna Thiede of Excelsior and Jeff Jirik of Faribault; six grandchildren; brother, Don Zweber; and sister, Loretta Farrell.
