Torrey's NE Marriages says: Esther / Hester [Williams?] Nichols? died 6 January 1679/80 at age 44. Married 1652 in New London.

He married first Hester Nichols, who was the daughter of John Nichols and his wife Grace. He married second Esther Nichols, daughter of Caleb Nichols and his wife Anne Ward. Hester and Esther were first cousins. (John and Caleb were brothers.) His third wife was Rebecca Parker, with whom he had no issue.

He married Hester Nichols about 1651 and they had issue:

  2. Joseph Prentice
  3. Jonathan Prentties, who married Elizabeth

She was the first wife of John Prentice (1628 - 1691), who married her 1651/1652 in Roxbury, Massachusetts (or New London, CT).
