FORMER MADISON RESIDENT DIES
FUNERAL TO BE HELD SATURDAY
Ethel Shepard Bartlett, formerly of Madison, died Tuesday [21 August 1962] in her home in Anaheim, California.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. in the Hallenbeck Funeral Home with Rev. Condon Terry officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
Mrs. Bartlett married Clarence Emery Bartlett July 16, 1901. He died September 5 [sic], 1956.
She was a member of the Presbyterian church. She lived in Madison all of her life [except from 1901 to about 1922] until moving to California [in 1961].
Survivors include three daughters: Mrs. E. P. (Mae) Van Buren, Dell Rapids, Miss Margaret Bartlett and Mrs. Rodney Parsons, Anaheim, California, and three grandchildren, Paul Van Buren and James and Kenneth Parsons.
