About Euphemia Callaghan
Strong evidence that Jeanette's name was "Euphemia Docherty", born PEI 1827?, of Scottish descent.
Thinking that Finlay Docherty (also spelled Dogherty and other variations) could be her father; Mary McLeod could be her mother.
Baptism record found for Henrietta, but note says "Euphemia?" Birth date on baptism record says Sept. 4, 1823. http://www.gov.pe.ca/parosearch/vital/individual-vital-information/...
Finlay's brother Angus also had a daughter Henrietta.
So either Finlay or Angus could be Euphemia's father. Though Euphemia did name one of her sons "William Finlay".
Angus was married to Catherine McLeod (the sister to Mary McLeod, Finlay's wife.)
