Eusebius moved to Henry County, Virginia and signed an Oath of Allegiance there 13 Sept. 1777, then joined the trek to Madison County, Kentucky in 1785. He moved to St. Louis County, Missouri in 1800.

Eusebius Hubbard of St. Louis County, freed his negro slave Jack, to take effect on the death of Eusebius Hubbard , dated August 18, 1817. Also states that Eusebius Hubbard departed this life in the house of John Patterson, Sr. in the County of St. Louis, Mo. on March 17, 1818, and this act of emancipation duly recorded Oct. 22, 1818. Circumstantial evidence indicates he was buried in Cold Water Cemetery. (This was the Patterson family cemetery)

Eusebius married for the second time on June 1805, St. Louis Co., Mo. to Elizabeth Whiteside [B]ond Chitwood, a widow. He obtainded a land grant from the Spanish Government and moved to St. Louis County, Mo. about 1800.

Eusebius Hubbard was born in 1744 in [Caroline] County, Va. He married Amy Durrett of Caroline County in 1764 and had the following children: Durrett (born 1765) Charles, John, George (born 1774 and married Mary Bellew), Fanny (married John Proctor), Sarah (Sally) who married Joseph Jamison and (2nd) [John] Patterson, Sr.
