Life Sketch
Abigail DuPuy, daughter of William and Elizabeth (White, Weyt).
Abigail's grandfather Francois DuPuy was a Huguenot refugee.
Abigail was born early in the year 1689, probably at Mernach (Verplanck's Point, Westchester County) where her father had settled before his marriage.
She married Pierre Foshay in the year 1704 at the Dutch Church in Philipsburgh.
Abigail and Pierre Foshay appeared together for the last time on record 13 April 1751 as sponsors for the baptism of their grandson 'Petrus' son of Johannis Jurckse and his wife Susanne.
Children: Jan, Pieter, Elizabeth, Judith, Eva, Sara, Willem, Susanne. --
