About Eva Pearl Sands
Mrs. Harvey L. Sands died at her home four miles northeast of Albion on Monday, April 7, following an attack of influenza. The funeral was held from the home Tuesday afternoon, services being conducted by Rev. G. H. Main and D. J. Poynter. Interment was in Rose Hill.
Eva Pearl Gates was born in Cherry County, Neb., January 12, 1887. She was educated in the Blanchard, Iowa, school and Ausity college. She was an active worker in church, school and social work.
On December 21, 1910, she was married to Harvey L. Sands and with him located near Albion, where she has since lived.
She was a loving daughter, a loyal sister, a faithful wife, an ideal mother and a sincere friend. Her husband, three small children, father, mother, three brothers and four sisters survive her.
