Eva Mae Williamson Sarvis, age 90, of Loris, died Sunday, May 6, at Conway Medical Center following an illness. Born June 5, 1916 in Loris, Mrs. Sarvis was the widow of the late Edward Eugene Sarvis and the daughter of the late J.J. Williamson and the late Mary E. Cartrette Williamson. Mrs. Sarvis retired as a nursing assistant at Loris Community Hospital and was a lifetime member of Oak Dale Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Charles "Doug" Sarvis of Loris; eight grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Sarvis was predeceased by three sons, Billy, Bobby, and Roger Sarvis; five brothers, Cary, Jodie, Clyde, Dewey, and Thomas Williamson; and one sister, Maggie Williamson.
