The Texas Mesquiter 12 Jan 1912 Death of Mrs. George Walker Mrs. George C. Walker , aged 21 years, died at her home in the Long Creek community, east of town, at 2:30 o'clock Sunday morning, of Bright's disease. Interment took place at Long Creek cemetery Sunday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock, funeral services being conducted by Rev. Walter Douglass. The deceased was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Grant Hatchett, a devout Christian and was held in high esteem. She is survived by her husband, Geo. C Walker, and two small children, a son and daughter, and the bereft have the sympathy of all.
