One of the children of John Bevan and Barbara Aubrey, was Evan Bevan,[1] who married Eleanor Wood "11 mo. 9, 1693, at Darby Meeting." Their second son, Evan Jr., was born "12 mo. 14, 1698" [February 14, 1698/9]. Evan Sr. died before his father. In John Bevan's will, he named the children of his son Evan: John, Evan, Aubrey, Charles, Barbara, Ann, Catherine, and Jane.[2]
