Evan James Handley

Evan worked in 1883-84 for the J M Hutton Co and they lived at 29 S 6th St, and sons Albert and Lawrence lived with them at that time. In 1890-91, Evan lived at 38 S. 8th St, in Richmond, and he was an engineer with the Quaker City Chair Co. When Evan and Margaret were married in 1848, he ran the Old Lane Mill in Oxford, OH, at the intersection of Lanes Mill and Wallace Roads, Milford Twp, Butler Co, OH. The mill was new in 1848 and is still standing. It is a beautiful old structure.
