Evan was an avid geneologist. He amassed an incredible ammount of history on his family. If you happened to be at his home, at almost any time of the day, he would be in his den, working on his love, his passion, his geneology.
Evan and Helen had been married for over 52 years. As you see here, they had quite a brood between them. His kids were quite a source of pride for Evan. He wanted the best for them.
Evan was also an avid photographer. He worked in his younger years behind a photo counter. The pictures that he took number in the thousands and are stored at his home in Taylorsville. He also loved the old pictures that he came accross of the previous generations that preceded him.
Pancreatic cancer took Evan from this earth on Sept. 2, 2005. His legacy is strong as is the mark he left on the portion of history during the span of time he was here.
