

Evelyn Frances (Beckwith) Bray, 96,, died January 15, 2015 at the Cameron Regional Medical Center. She was born on December 20, 1918 near Pattonsburg, MO, the oldest daughter of Earl Harlow and Lula Miller Beckwith.
Evelyn married Hubert Bray September 22, 1940 and lived on a farm in DeKalb County most of their married life. Evelyn was a loving and nurturing mother and grandmother and will be missed by all. She was a hard-working farm wife and an excellent homemaker. She was a member of the Bethel Methodist Church.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert, on October 4, 1992, her parents, a sister Naomi, a grandson, Josiah William Bray, and two great-grandchildren, Jeffrey Kyle Bray and Autumn Anne Phillips.
Evelyn is survived by four children: Sons, Richard (Carol), Independence, MO, David (Mary), Stewartsville, MO, Paul (Connie) Weatherby and daughter Kay Phillips (Randy) of Independence, MO. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Marie Boyd, of Weatherby, and a niece and nephew.
Cremation is under the direction of Bram Funeral Home, Maysville. Burial and graveside services will be at Bethel Cemetery, Weatherby, MO
