Blair served as Treasurer and Board member of St John's United Methodist Church, as a Board member of Youth Opportunity Unlimited, as Treasurer and Board Member of the Volunteer Services Council of the Richmond State School, as a Director of the First National Bank of Richmond and as a member of the local Bar Association Grievance Committee.

Blair was preceded in death by her parents, August and Thelma Walzel, her brother, J.B. "Buck" Walzel, and her sister Jacquelyn Walzel. She is survived by her devoted husband of 62 years, C. E. "Jack" Myska, and her loving daughters, Lynda Myska Irvine and husband John Irvine of Houston, Cindy Myska and husband Frank Allen of Austin, Texas, and Donna Myska Ratliff and husband Jerimac Ratliff of Las Vegas, Nevada.
