IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Everett Louis Goldman, 82, of Idaho Falls, passed away August 2, 2008, at his home of natural causes, surrounded by his family. He was under the care of Aspen Home Health & Hospice.
He was born January 2, 1926, in Milo, Idaho, to Louis Phillip Goldman and Etta May Guthrie Goldman. He grew up in Milo and attended Coltman Elementary and graduated from Ucon High School.
He served in the U. S. Army during World War II as a Technician 5th Grade.
He married AnnaDawn Hinckley March 8, 1950, in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Their marriage was solemnized July 15, 1954, in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. He worked as a diesel mechanic for Smith Chevrolet until his retirement in 1995.
An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he served in the Bishopric, in the High Priest leadership, and in the Elders Quorum Presidency. He and AnnaDawn served a full-time LDS mission to Montgomery, Alabama. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, spending time with his family, and could build anything.

Sister: Allene Sorman of Idaho Falls, ID
18 Grandchildren & 14 Great Grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Lorraine Goldman, and a sister, Ella Christensen.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 5, 2008, at the Idaho Falls LDS 22nd Ward, 1235 Juniper, with Bishop Dan Perkins officiating. The family will visit with friends Monday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge, and Tuesday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.
Burial will be in the Ucon Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home. Military Rites will be performed by the Bonneville County Veterans Memorial Team and Idaho Honor Guard.
