• work According to traditional sosurcs, he was a schoolteacher in Albany as early as 1688. Albany records showed him as collector (of Taxes). In 1690, records show that he was commissioned a lieutenant in the militia by Jacob Leisler.
• lived In 1689, his home was in the first ward. In 1697, the census showed him living in Rensselaerswyck.
• baptisms By 1713, eleven children had been christened at the Albany Ddudtch church. He was last mentioned in the records in January 1713 in conjunction with the baptism of his last daughter. (Ann)
