Fae Stubblefield

Fae Baraclough Cox Stubblefield, 86, passed away February 18, 2011. She was born November 1, 1924 in Tooele, Utah to Edmund Steele "Ted" Barraclough and Ida Mae Lee. She married Gene Carlyle Cox, October 27, 1947, in Tooele, Utah. Gene passed away March 13, 1971. She later married Charles Preston Stubblefield, January 1, 1978 in Pioche, Nevada.

Fae loved to be outdoors whether it was fishing, picnicking or just spending time with her family. She loved to walk and was never one to be left home on any hiking trip. She loved all types of sports and was always her children's and grandchildren's biggest fan.

Fae loved to cook and crochet, and work in her yard. She loved her dogs. She was a supervisor at the Caliente Girls School for many years. She spent her early married years moving from mining town to mining town with her husband, Gene.

She is survived by her children Kenneth Paul (Sassy) Cox, Apache Junction, Arizona; Geniel (Bill) Connor, Pioche, Nevada; LeeAnn Cox, Rancho Mirage, California, and Steven Gene (Cheryl) Cox, Boulder, Utah. She is also survived by her sister Loraine Madsen and brother Don (Shirley) Barraclough, Tooele, Utah; seven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husbands Gene Carlyle Cox and Charles Preston Stubblefield.

A graveside service will be held at the Panaca Cemetery in Panaca, Nevada on Friday, February 25, 2011 at 11:00 am (PST).
