Obituary Fayette Skinner son of Clinton and Sarah Jane Conwin skinner, died Tuesday morning September 22. He had been afflicted with a weak heart for several years, but had been feeling much better, and Tuesday morning he went to Skinners Falls station with some freight. The station is about a mile from his home. He delivered the freight at the station, but must have passed away soon after crossing the railroad track. Mr and Mrs. Merlin Illman discovered the horse had no driver, and then others came to help care for him. E. O. Barnes and Fred Knesel and his brother came down and dis all that kind neighbors could do, but he was beyond human assistance. Mr. Skinner was 78 years old. He was a member of the Milanville M.E. church, a kind neighbor and beloved in his family. He is survived by his wife, who was Isabelle Moodey; and one sonk Fred of Lake Huntington; two daughters, Miss Ada and Sarah, wife of Marvin Price of Damascus; one brothr, Amzi and one sister, Mrs. Caroline Cornish of Milanville; also nieces and nephews. The funeral was held from his late home Thursday afternoon. aHis pastork Rev. O.G. Russell, officiating, Vernon Tegeler had charge of the funeral for his brother in law. Corwin Valentine. The burial was made in the family plot at Milanville.
