About Feliks Beldsinsky
Comments: Date from Rainer Pukk.
Notes by Marika Mikkor:
Felix was born in Helsinki in 1905
(1905-1974). One of Ferdinand´s sons lived 1899-1920, it is the reason,
why I think, Helene perhaps was second wife.
Already 1911 they lived in Tallinn. My grandfather´s
Brother´s Erik Beldsinky (b. 1910 or 1911) son have told me, that
they had 13 children, but Felix told at 1930-s in newspaper, that
they had 7 children in the family. When journalists asked about polish
last name, he said- I´m an Estonian, at home we talk Estonian and
They lived in Tallinn very poorly, as in Estonian Republic
Ferdinand lost his post, lived as Russian emigrant.
Felix Beldsinsky was VERY-VERY wellknown and popular sportsman 1928-1934, and his Estonian record at 5000 m distance from Finland, Turku, lasted 19 years. You can find him in some of the main encyclobedias.
