Felix Bowser, of Worthington, Dies At Age of 82
Married Three Times and Leaves to Survive Ninety Children and Grandchildren
Felix Bowser, one of the best known residents of that section, died at his home in Worthington on Monday morning at 3:30 o'clock of a complication of diseases. He was in the eighty-third year of his age. Deceased was married three times and is survived by his third wife, Mary Foyle Bowser, and the following children; Mrs. Elizabeth Lewis, Worthington; Emmit Bowser, Worthington; Mrs. Ella Toy, Kittanning; Newton Bowser, Worthington; Ambrose Bowser, West Kittanning; Harry Bowser, Worthington; Mrs. Effie Sarvey, Butler; Raymond Bowser, Butler; Mrs. Ivy Bish, Kittanning; Ray Bowser, Worthington. Deceased is also survived by 33 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 2, great-great-grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Hannah McCullough, Kittanning and one brother, Wilson Bowser, Kittanning. Mr. Bowser was a member of the Union Baptist church, of North Buffalo Township. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock in the United Presbyterian church, Worthington. Interment at Center Hill.
FELIX BOWSER FUNERAL WAS LARGELY ATTENDED
The funeral services in memory Felix Bowser held at Worthington on Wednesday afternoon were largely attended. Rev. Clark, pastor the Slate Lick United Presbyterian church and Rev. Heilman of the Ford City Baptist church, officiated. Many comforting words were given and many tributes paid to the memory of the deceased. Beautiful hymns were sung by the Presbyterian choir and also by the choir at the Center Hill church. There were many floral tributes of affection and sympathy. The following grandsons of the deceased acted as pallbearers; Roy Toy, King Bowser, Felix Beckwith, and Lawrence Bowser. Fourteen grandchildren were flower bearers. Joy Bowser, Clarence Bowser, Wilbert Beckwith, Sylis Beckwith, Anna Bowser, Arnold Bowser, Arthur Bowser, Donald Bowser, Betty Sarvey, John Sarvey, Felix Bowser, Bobbie Toy, Roy Crisman and Marie Walters. Interment was in the Center Hill cemetery.

Funeral Services for Felix Bowser will be held in the United Prebyterian church at Worthington on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock There will also be short service in the church at Center Hill preceding the interment.
