COMMENT: One must understand that 'Old' DAR Applications are nearly worthless in terms of quality documentation and are not accepted by DAR themselves without accepted by the DAR themselvs without further research and documentation 'OLD' means numbers before 600.-000 in cases where later applications are missing required data, even applications of more recent dates. Orginally 60,000 lineages, the 6,000 not sold are in Peabody library, John Hopkins University Baltimore, Md. Catalogue No. 207 from Genealogical Book Company lists surnames and could possibly still be available.
