Ferdinand Edward Wehl

Birth announced in the "South Australian Register" of Tuesday 23 October 1855: "On the 9th instant, at Mount Gambler, the wife of Dr. Edward Wehl, of a son."

Obituary published in "The Register" of Friday 28 February 1908: "MILLICENT, February 28.— Mr. F. B. WehL an old and much respected resident, died at the Thyne Memorial Hospital yesterday. He was in his fiftieth year. He was the eldest son of the late Dr. E. Wehl, and was born at Mount Gambier. He came to the district in the early days, and had resided here almost ever since. Some years ago he went to the Barrier, where he remained for some years, and then returned. He was manager for Dalgety and Co. "
