Flora Button, 76, Dies At Winamac
WINAMAC—Mrs. Flora Button 76, died at 6 p.m. Saturday at Pulaski Memorial Hospital afler a week's illness. Born May 14, 1886, at Somerset, Ind., she had lived here 25 years. Her marriage in 1907 was to Harley Button, who died in 1951. She was a member of the Pleasant Ridge Church.
Survivors are 12 children, Raymond, Valparaiso; Mrs. Catherine Field, of here; Mrs. Florence Betz, Valparaiso; William and Mrs. Mae Harris, North Judson; Edward, Winamac; Mrs. Helen Wynkoop, Highland; Mrs. Edna Stoll, Francesville; Douglas, Hammond; Mrs. Betty Brown, of here; Robert, Rensselaer; Ervin S. O'Connor, Hebron; 43 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren; a brother, Russell Malott, Tucson, Ariz.; two sisters, Mrs. Frances Skinner, Peru, and Mrs. Daisy Shields, Logansport.
Friends may call at Kennedy-Braman Funeral Home after 2 p.m. today. Rites will be there at 2 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev C. D. Barringer will officiate and burial will be in Royal Center cemetery. Mrs. Button's death was the first at the Pulaski Hospital, which opened last week. Sunday, March 24, 1963 - Logansport Pharos-Tribune
