DEATH
The death of Miss Flora Train, late postmistress at Borambll, which occurred on the 16th instant at Singleton Hospital, removes a very- old and respected resident of the district. The late Miss Train was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Train, who, 70 years ago came from Bathurst to the Cassilis district and took up their residence at Borambll in the house in which Miss Train lived until she went to Singleton for medical attention. She was seven years of age when her parents left. Bathurst. Her age at death was 77 years. On the death off he parents she continued to reside at Borambil in the old home, and. carried on, dressmaking for many years. About the year 1918 she became postmlstress at Borambil and carried on unitil her death. She is survived by her two brothers viz Syd (Merriway), Jim (Baerami) and one sister, Mrs Ferrington (Singleton). One brother (Aubrey) died in action in the Great War. The late Miss Train was respected and esteemed by a large circle of friends in the district. The remains were laid to rest at Singleton.
